Join us for a science adventure exploring the Sun and Moon through hands-on and engaging activities! We will be covering important 1st-grade science standards while learning about the world around us! In this 2 week course, we will meet twice a week for 30 minutes. Students will learn about the Sun and the Moon. Day 1 & Day 2 - The Sun: What is the Sun? Sunrise & Sunset Patterns Day 3 & Day 4 - The Moon: What is the Moon? The Phases of the Moon Earth Science Standards...
Earth Science Standards (NGSS): ESS1.1 – Use observations of the sun, moon, and stars to describe patterns that can be predicted. ESS1.2 – Make observations at different times of the year to relate to the amount of daylight to specific times of the year.
