Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
I'm excited to meet you (digitally) and eager to explore science concepts and thinking with your child(ren).
I'm a scientist turned educator with a passion for being outside, exploring, and looking at the ways we can use nature to learn more about the world around us.
I encourage students to explore and experience science with a hands-on approach and then reflect on learning to help understand concepts and connections. Children are naturally scientists but can forget how curious they are...I work to bring out their curiosity, engage their questions, while helping them find the answers through phenomena driven lessons and classes.
