This class will include formative assessments throughout the lesson. This will give the learner a way to communicate their understanding of concepts. At the conclusion of each class students will get the share new facts or ideas they learned that address our class’s daily objective. If you prefer a more formal assessment for your student that can be arranged with the teacher.Class Experience
US Grade 1 - 3
Beginner Level
Join me as we discover the wonderful world of Science! This class will take place over one week where we will spend 45 minutes exploring topics such as Earth, Water Cycle, Clouds and Plate Tectonics. This hands-on class will include an engagement time where learners will get to share and interact with others. Guided lessons with pictures, videos, PowerPoint and student driven questions to ensure all types of learning styles are met. We will conclude with an optional craft based on your learner’s preference.

This class will identify the characteristic of four main types of clouds. 45 mins online live lesson

Our Planet Earth
This class will highlight important facts about our planet Earth. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Plate Tectonics
This class will explain plate tectonics and how they impact our world. 45 mins online live lesson

Supply List
These supplies are only needed if your learner wants to complete the craft during class. Lesson 1- Clear zip lock bag , 4 different color markers, tape, and scissors. Water will be added to a zip lock bag or your learner can wait and add water with an adult. Lesson 2- One sheet of blue paper, 6-10 cotton balls, liquid glue, white crayon and black marker and scissors Lesson 3- Playdough colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Brown, Green and Blue and a plastic knife. Lesson 4- Paper plate, 3 whole Graham Crackers, 1 cups Whip Cream, Reddi whip or yogurt ( with or without red food coloring added to look like lava) any color play dough
