Our time together will be as follows: Welcome -5 minutes: Introduction to the Article for the Day (slides, picture, short video clip) -20 minutes: Read the Article Together. Complete a "skill-builder" written activity together. Review vocabulary words -5 minutes: Summarize the Article; What Did We Learn? * I will be using an online Scholastic News Article and screen sharing over zoom. *Students will be given a worksheet to print out and work on alongside me during the class. Hello Friends! I am so excited to have you in my class. I love to teach a whole bunch of different topics such as phonemic awareness, reading comprehension and fluency, history, and makeup.
