We will be learning about numbers, shapes and colors through a scavenger hunt. We will cover these topics by going over them, and searching for objects around the house. I will be asking you for example… to find something red. I will give you all a minute to have a look. Once we’re back together we will discuss what we’ve found, and search for the next things. We will get the chance to discuss and interact with each other, through questions and observation. Any required experience or knowledge learners need? The answer is no! We will learn together, and if you already know about the basic math concepts… we will make them even stronger! For this activity you do not need to prepare anything. You will need to be able to find objects around your surrounding.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of shapes, colours and numbers. They will also work on their communication and observation skills.
