Let's welcome spring by sharing some of our favorite spring things. This 1-time class social skills class will give learners a chance to practice colors, shapes, numbers, letter sounds, and more in a fun show-and-tell format.

Get your best searching skills ready. We are going on a scavenger hunt! This one time class will help learners practice colors, shapes, numbers, letter sounds, and more in a fun show-and-tell format. Learners will be given a description of items to find from around them in their surroundings. They will have an opportunity to share their items with the class. We will begin class with welcomes and introductions. We will talk a little bit about some of the things we like about spring. Next I will read a spring story. Then we will have our scavenger hunt. I will give students a description of something to find. For example: Find something green Find something round Find 2 things that match Learners will have an opportunity to share each item they find with the class. Learners will be encouraged to comment politely and ask questions about items shared. During this class, learners will practice taking turns, connecting with others, listening, and speaking. Learning Goals
