Class Experience

US Grade 8 - 10
Beginner Level
Students, currently enrolled in my Saxon Algebra 1 class, are invited to get extra help and practice exercises from different Practice Sets and Problem Sets in their textbook.

Students should come prepared with a specific question (or questions) with which they need help.

Sitting in on this study session will also allow them to get exposure to other questions from other learners.

I will post the available times at the beginning of each week, as my schedule allows. The days and times will vary, depending on my available schedule (but would most likely be Tuesdays and/or Fridays morning and/or afternoon.

I hope this will be helpful to those who need it.

I am grateful for you giving me the opportunity to help your learner with math this academic year.

I have been teaching math (as a classroom teacher and tutor) for 25+ years. As a person who struggled with math as a younger learner, I can empathize with and relate to students as they try to learn new concepts. A lot of encouragement goes a long way!
