Welcome friends!
My name is Ms. Shalisha and I've been a certified teacher for 11 years. I enjoy teaching math, phonics, and handwriting. I started my teaching career in 2013 and have taught kindergarten, first grade; as well as fourth and fifth grade math and science.
My philosophy is that "learners are like popcorn kernels; they may not all pop at the same time, but in the end they are all good" meaning that each child learns at their own pace with the right molding they will grow their brains!
When I'm not teaching I'm baking, gardening, and traveling with family. I also love curling up with a good book or binge-watching a show.
