Class Experience

I will use live props and slides to teach students
what seeds are,
why they need protection,
when they sleep and when they wake up,
why we save them,
how we save them
and finally we will craft a paper envelope to hold your future seeds! Don’t forget to bring a sheet of paper, age appropriate scissors, a writing utensil and anything extra you want to add for flare!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Bri (like the cheese). I have a Bachelor's in English, creative writing. I've been teaching my own two children at home for 4 years and ESL online for one year. For twelve years before that I ran my own photography business, specializing in weddings. I love photography and sharing the how-to's with people who want to know more about the actual methods behind an image. Photography concepts are an excellent way to introduce young minds to photography and add in some math! Speaking of photography, what can you take of photo of everyday that is alive and grows, but never moves from location to location? Plants! I also really love identifying plants, foraging, gardening, cooking and preserving the fruits of my labor. I'll be sharing some of my favorite methods for you and your family to try!
