Beginner - Advanced Level
Welcome to resource gathering on an epic scale, in the PC game, Satisfactory.

During our ongoing weekly sessions, we will play through the game’s storyline continuing from where we left off each week.

The session will last 1 hour, but sometimes may over-run to allow for task completion.

Satisfactory is an open-world game set on an alien planet.

Our team will land and be tasked with harvesting the resources of the land, building a base, constructing & placing machines, and building automated factories.

The resources are transported along conveyor belts (also built by the players) from machine to machine, where they’re combined into new items and products.

The aim of Satisfactory is to build fully automated setups/factories that can manufacture any item without requiring the player's manual intervention.

There are many important skills needed to achieve our goal of manufacturing the end game items and we’ll need to plan and construct an efficient working system overall in order to succeed.

Satisfactory will push students to use their critical thinking and planning skills to the limits!
Overall, Satisfactory is a great game for students to learn a variety of practical skills.

It is a challenging game that requires players to use a varying amount of different strategic skills.
If you are looking for a game that can help learn valuable thinking skills, then Satisfactory is a great option.

I'll encourage students to be involved in calculating and planning out factories themselves, which will produce a massive amount of goods needed for the much larger picture overall.

Satisfactory is a very large and enjoyable game with lots to be built. Including a large rail network around the whole map!
We will make things easier with a shared plan of what needs to be built.

I will create a friendly inclusive gaming session in a safe and trustworthy environment.
Students will feel a sense of belonging within our small team of 3 students and myself.

Get ready for a relaxing open-world building experience, where we can make memories and new friends with the same interests! I'll be playing more as a friend and teammate, than an adult teacher.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

Also check my profile for lots of other games that I host, or contact me to request certain days/times/age requirements.

Happy adventuring!

Other Details

Learning Needs
This class is inclusive for all and accommodates learners with special needs and attention requirements (SEN, ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism etc), while also being suitable for neurotypical students.
Parental Guidance
The age rating for this game has not yet been reviewed and rated because the game is still in early access. This game is mostly very tame and relaxing. The only 1 thing that may cause a problem for some people are spiders that jump out. They only come out and attack if you go into the caves, so they can be avoided. Or they can easily be killed by swiping with your sword. You are also able to turn on arachnophobia mode, which places a small picture of a cat over the top of the spiders instead.
Pre-Requisites
1. Own ‘Satisfactory’. 2. A compatible device (PC only). 3. Headset, earbuds, or speakers for chat. 4. Microphone for chatting 5. Camera for identity verification. (a mobile phone works well with 3,4,5)

I specialize in hosting video game sessions that encourage critical thinking, leadership, and decision-making, offering an exciting way to boost confidence while having fun.

Coming from a large, diverse family has nurtured my empathy and understanding, especially with neurodiverse children and adults. My classes warmly welcome both neurodiverse (ADHD, Autism, Anxiety) and neurotypical children, ensuring an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone can participate and thrive.

Through gaming, students build essential skills like leadership, teamwork, resilience, and confidence. They enhance focus, attention, and cognitive flexibility while also improving tech literacy, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. My sessions encourage students to find balance with structured screen time, emphasizing the social and mental health benefits gaming can offer.

I strive to foster independence and self-motivation, helping students grow in areas like spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and strategic thinking. Additionally, gaming promotes cultural awareness and diversity, offering students a broader perspective, while providing a positive outlet for stress relief and relaxation.

With a focus on resilience, I encourage students to persevere and overcome obstacles, celebrating their successes and achievements when they reach them.

As someone who has loved gaming since the age of 9, I’m dedicated to inspiring the next generation of gamers.

Beyond gaming, I’m happy to share my knowledge in live streaming, YouTube content creation, video and image editing and other creative online pursuits. My goal is to help students overcome obstacles, persevere, and become more confident and empowered versions of themselves.

Join me on this exciting learning adventure, where education and fun come together!

Please note - Many games are available to buy at a very large discount on the website, 'CDKeys.com', including the PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass online subscriptions. (I am not affiliated with CDKeys and receive nothing for recommending them).
