Christmas is here & Santa Claus is coming to town. In this class, students will write a creative fiction essay about a town preparing for Santa's visit. Students will learn how to create a setting and develop characters for their own story.

Beginner Level
This class will be a teacher-guided lesson in creative writing. Students will learn through discussion how to develop a setting and create characters for their short story. This class will go over sentence structure and will rely on grammar tools to write creative fictional short stories about Santa Claus' visit to a fictional town. The lesson will include a lecture and collaboration with other learners along with a fun and interactive handout.

Students will how to use their imaginations to create fun fictional short stories.
Students will learn how to turn their ideas into grammatically correct sentences.

A four-page printout will be provided for this class. Students will need a pencil, an eraser, and crayons or colored pencils.
