Intermediate Level
Instruction will be given in a relaxed, fun and upbeat manner three times a week. Students will be rewarded often with verbal cues. The main goal of this class is to make math an enjoyable experience for each student. Students should leave class feeling confident and excited to learn more. An assortment of learning techniques will be used to meet the needs of each learner and no learner should feel left behind. Homework Offered
Between 10-30 minutes of practice work will be assigned between classes. Practice work will typically be a pdf that students can print or write the questions and answers in a notebook if preferred. Answer keys will be provided and also discussed at the beginning of most classes. Homework will not be checked unless reqested.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Between 10-30 minutes of practice work will be assigned between classes. Practice work will typically be a pdf that students can print or write the questions and answers in a notebook if preferred. Answer keys will be provided. In addition, upon request at any time, I can happily create a more detailed description of what concepts a learner has mastered and which they could benefit from practicing more (along with resources that might help). If a formal assessment (unit test) is preferred that can also easily be implemented upon request.Grades Offered
A notebook dedicated to taking math notes and working out problems along with a sharpened pencil will be helpful for each class. Links to any practice work will be provided before each class and it is the learners choice to print it or have it pulled up on their device ready to work on.
