Instruction will be given in a relaxed, fun and upbeat manner once a week. Students will be rewarded often with verbal cues. The main goal of this class is to make math an enjoyable experience for each student. Students should leave class feeling confident and excited to learn more. An assortment of learning techniques will be used to meet the needs of each learner and no learner should feel left behind.

This class is also designed to help with flexible and changing schedules. It is ongoing and you can cancel at anytime. As long as your child has at least a 6th
grade background knowledge of math, they should be just fine no matter when they join! Questions from previous classes are always welcomed as well.

Class will typically begin with a fun warm up activity (puzzle, video, game, review problems) followed by going over the practice work and an engaging slideshow presentation led by the teacher. The students will then be given time for some guided practice of what they just learned. This might simply be completing some practice problems individually or in breakout groups, playing a game or even completing a hands on activity. Students will also be encouraged to complete some practice work before the next class to make sure they don't forget what they just learned.
