Russian Language Through Stories - Read, Type and Improve Vocabulary 1:1
What's included
Class Experience
Learners will be offered different Russian stories each week to improve their language skills. IMPORTANT: Knowledge of the Russian alphabet is required before joining this class. We will be using the following book: "Learn Russian with Short Stories: Interlinear Russian to English (Learn Russian with Interlinear Stories for Beginners and Advanced Readers Book 2)" In this class, we will work with a new story each week. What will be provided each week: - power point presentation of the story with annotated stress for longer words - a new video of the teacher reading the story (slow then faster) - new worksheets and assignments will include: ^ record yourself reading the story out loud and submit for teacher's review ^ "fill in the blank" worksheet ^ "repeat after me" challenge ^ "type the following words" (Russian keyboard required) worksheet ^ answer the following questions - to test comprehension and retention After submission of the learner's work, the teacher will provide feedback with words requiring more practice and correction of any mistakes. Additional resources might be provided depending on the learner's needs. In the 4 weeks we will cover the following stories: W1: Magic Water (part 1) - reading assignments W2: Magic Water (part 1) - other assignments W3: Magic Water (part 2) - reading assignments W4: Magic Water (part 2) - other assignments This is a class with flexible schedule, meaning there will be no live meetings scheduled. Learners can complete the assignments in their own time, which is ideal for those with busy schedules or those that cannot commit to a fix schedule every week. This is a private class in which individual worksheets and feedback will be developed for the learner. My recommendation is not to try to complete all the work in one day, but rather split it over the duration of the week, and submit the work by increments. I will try to get back with feedback within 48 hours after the work is submitted. Please note: This class is not for beginners. Learners need to be comfortable the Russian alphabet before joining this class. If your learner is a beginner or needs a refresher, please consider my Russian alphabet class: https://outschool.com/classes/russian-alphabet-read-type-and-write-in-russian-OdbmqRWj?usid=5baDiTcs&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link

Certified Yoga Teacher:
I have been practicing asana for over 10 years. Realizing the effect that my practice had on me both mentally and physically, I was pulled to learn more about yoga. Having completed the 200hr YYT with We Are One Teacher Training in Reno, I started teaching both online and in person in individual settings and small groups. It is very empowering and motivational to see the students realize the impact that yoga can have on them. Because we all can use a little bit of yoga...
There are no judgments in my classes, and no previous experience is required. Starting practicing yoga is never too early and it is never too late. Also, there is no better day then today!
