US Grade 4 - 5
In this multi-day math class, students will learn what it takes to run thier own "virtual" lawn mowing service using multiplication and division just like they would in real life. This class is set up to work on math tasks each time we meet. This class is structured for students to work together as a team, support each other and participate in conversation with peers and teacher. Each class will have a 2 page printable. Students will improve thier background knowledge in the skills listed above such as: basic multiplication and division facts, fact families, perimeter.
Homework Offered
Prior to class students are encouraged to print their Math tasks that we will work on in class. If we do not finish a math task before the end of class students are able to work on outside of class and bring back to class the following meeting day to review.Assessments Offered
