This class is thoughtfully designed to support ALL learners. Students with Dyslexia and Autism will benefit from abundant multisensory activities. Skills are taught systematically and explicitly to ensure that every student is successful.
Pre-Requisites
This class is designed for beginners, so there are no formal prerequisites. However, students should be able to:
Recognize and read basic sight words.
Understand simple instructions and engage in turn-based gameplay.

I am a licensed elementary educator with over 14 years of experience teaching both in the classroom and supporting family with tutoring/homeschool services. I have endorsements in Reading K-12 and ESOL (language learners). Most of my career I have worked with struggling learners (Dyslexic, Autistic, ESOL, ADHD), working in Title I schools. Starting January 2025, I will be working toward my Dyslexic certification with Orton Gillingham.
Both sets of my grandparents had farms, so I grew up learning to grow and can my own food, sew, and make most of my meals from scratch. I take pride in continuing these traditions and promote these valuable skills. Reviews
