Let's roll our dice and play a fun game that teaches us different exercises! Exercises that we will be doing include; jumping jacks, planks, crunches, squats, lunges, toe touches, leg raises, push-ups, and more!

Class experience

✔️ Encourage children to engage in regular physical activity to promote overall health and well-being.
✔️ Introduce age-appropriate exercises and movements that focus on building strength, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance.
✔️ Aim to increase children's understanding of the importance of staying active for their physical health.
I have been teaching for more than 25 years with the Toronto District School Board. My Ontario College of Teachers Certificate number is #286618. I attended Dalhousie University for my Bachelor of Music in Performance, and then Brock University for my Bachelor of Education. I studied classical piano from the age of 5 with the Royal Conservatory of Music. While in University, I performed as a Mezzo-Soprano in the Dalhousie Chorale.
Throughout my teaching career, I have taught K-12 Music, Kindergarten, Grade 1 and 2, Health and Physical Education. I have conducted choirs and musical ensembles for seasonal public performances throughout all of these years of teaching. I have always continued to advance my skills by taking additional qualifications courses and am very proud to be a Reading Specialist. 
It is my passion and joy to make learning fun and engaging for all of my students!
Homework Offered
Learners will receive a copy of the Roll The Dice Fitness Game which can be played at home.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be given positive feedback and encouragement to boost their enthusiasm and confidence.
Grades Offered
Bring your dice and and a bottle of water to stay hydrated!
 Learners need…
👉 An open space to participate safely in the class
👉Gym shoes
👉Comfortable clothing
👉Water 
👉Extra stretching is advised after class 

If a learner has any disability or injury I ask parents to message me beforehand or let me know at the beginning of the class to make the appropriate modifications. It is also advised for parents to be close to the learners for safety precautions.
