In this workshop students will: Use an online application to program a virtual robot using basic programming block functions Learn how to debug code, step-by-step, to determine what blocks are need to make the robot perform according to the problem statements. Learn the purpose of directions, distance, time, coordinates, ordered pairs and plotting points block and how to use them in their code. A Kahoot activity recap knowledge of understanding. No prior experience necessary. Workshop platform: Zoom, RoboBlockly and Kahoot
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic programming functions to navigate the virtual robot to perform tasks using directions, distance, time, coordinates, ordered pairs and plotting points blocks.
