Week 1Lesson 1Roblox Studio Explorer- We will learn how to use Roblox Studio to create 3D games in Roblox. They will learn to create a house structure using basic shapes.Lesson 2Landscape Creation- We will learn how to build forests using the Roblox Terrain Editor system. They will be able to construct and customize their terrain.Lesson 3Roblox Game Design with Shapes and 3D Models- We will learn how to design a multi-level Obby game in Roblox. They will learn to create the platform where the game begins. They will also learn to design easy and difficult levels using basic shapes and solid modeling.Lesson 4Interactive Obby Game Design with LUA- We will learn about the LUA programming language. They will learn about variables and use it to change the color of a block in a sequence.Week 2Lesson 5Roblox Game Mechanics: Coins, Health, and Challenges- We will learn to design a customized 3D model using basic shapes and code it to destroy the player when the player touches it. They will also learn to design coins using basic shapes, place them in the game, and code them to keep the count of coins collected using variables and conditionals.Lesson 6Unleashing Player Speed and Jump Mastery- We will learn to manipulate the player's speed and jump height in our Obby Game. They will also learn to design levels using basic shapes, place them in the game, and code to create spinning obstacles using a while loop.Lesson 7Crafting an Engaging User Interface- We will learn to design an engaging user interface for a game in Roblox. They will learn to add UI elements like a form, a label, a button, and an image label.Lesson 8Level Crafters: Build & Share- We will learn to debug the code and fix the Obby Game. "In this class, the student is expected to have Roblox Player and Roblox Studio installed on their system before joining the class. We will share the step-by-step guide to install Roblox and account creation. In case you encounter any challenges while installing Roblox, we will be more than happy to assist you. The teacher will be able to see the username/gamertag of the student during the class."
