Roblox English Practice Club - Practice Using English While Playing Roblox

Are you a fan of Roblox? Do you want to practice your English Speaking Skills!  Then this is the class for you!  We will meet up on a teacher-hosted, private server - where we can safely make friends and chat in a moderated session.  I keep this class size to 8 so that all can be heard and personalized attention can be given to each learner!

This class will help us gain confidence in talking with others, it will help us practice new vocabulary, and sentence structure, and show off our Roblox skills!  

This is a teacher-led class but with a relaxed format with an informal structure. It's an opportunity to build on social skills and to practice speaking and listening to others in a fun, safe, familiar environment.  

Each week we will pick a theme and a game and discuss new vocabulary as we play!   

Week of September 12th: Find the Animal - We will learn and practice words about the Animal Kingdom.  What different animals are called?  What habitats do these animals live in? What do they eat? 

Week of September 19th: Color Block - We will practice our colors in a fun interactive game.  Shout the next color!!  

Week of September 26th: Hide and Seek Extreme - We will learn and practice words about everyday household items.  Our Hide and Seek area is in a house with many different items laying around.  What are they?  What do we use them for?  

Week of October 3rd: Find the Marker - We will work as a team to find different color makers in different areas of the map. So many different words to practice and use as we race to see who can find the most!!  

Please note I do not use breakout rooms for my classes. I will mute if I need to be heard, if a quiet participant is trying to be heard or if there is excessive background noise, but generally, I encourage the practice of respect and kindness by allowing others to take turns expressing themselves for a positive social experience

Roblox app and Roblox account required. If possible learners should play Roblox on a separate device (iPhone, iPad, Tablet, or another computer) from what they take in their Outschool class to have the best experience possible.  Please send me your child's Roblox user name after you've enrolled so I can add them as a friend.
