LEARNERS WILL NEED AN ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE BUILD LEVEL FOR THIS CLASS! THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS! In this class you will use your communication, organizational, and social skills. At the beginning of the class the teacher assign a random build each week. (ie. Color challenge, baby house, mansion, cozy home, etc.) Students will work together and individually to complete the build each week. Each week will be either a collaborative build or individual build. The type of build will depend on the challenge. This class is meant to help children of all different build preferences build their skills on the platform. Bloxburg is a great game that teaches everyday realistic skills such as working and spending, hygiene, and learning the value of a dollar. This is a great game to bring out artistic skills also since the buildings can be very elaborate and creative. In class, your learner can learn skills from other learners, and everyday skills from the platform it self. If you are up for the challenge, join the class and put your skills to the test. This is an very interactive class, students will not be muted at anytime during class and will have the chance to play interactively with other students. Please make sure you have an open plot and Bloxburg money (free money within the platform.) in the amount of at least 20,000 before each class. You can obtain this by working in the platform or by selling parts of your class. We will be playing on my private Bloxburg neighborhood during class, students will need to friend me prior to class. I will post my username in the classroom for all enrolled students. Please check the classroom prior to class.

Students will polish their communication and group problem solving skills. They will learn to work collaboratively as a group to complete one task.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have taught children 2 - 13 yrs old in a classroom setting for 20 yrs. In 2008, I joined a co-op elementary school with a constructivist approach. I believe whole-heartedly in the constructivist approach for children because it involves children being actively involved in the knowledge construction as opposed to passively receiving information.
I enjoy teaching a wide variety of subjects including lower elementary language arts, math, and science lab classes because I can apply my constructivist approach to help the children think outside of the box, problem solve, and make conclusions from their experiences in my classes.
My teaching style is very interactive. My classes include discussion, interaction, and a lot of learner feedback and support. I believe that learning should be fun, as well as, educational for my students. I believe that learners should thoroughly enjoy learning in order to produce life long learners. Learner interests are always taken into consideration when creating my class curriculum.
In addition to teaching, I am a mom of five, dog mom to two, and cat mom to 3! I love my large family and I wouldn't have it any other way! I hope to meet your learner in my classroom!
