US Grade 1 - 2
We will be working on Fry's 3rd 100 Sight Words, Vowel Teams, and Guided Reading Levels K-M depending on the reading level of the student as determined in the assessment. Sight words and phonics will be taught using a variety of strategies. We will be breaking apart the words to learn the different letter patterns, using music and rhythm to have more right-left brain connections, and playing games to make the learning more fun. Here is a breakdown of what we will be doing each week. You will notice that we follow a routine each week.
