In this course, students will learn the foundations of public speaking. The topics that will be covered will be posture, delivery, preparation, talking points, eye contact, voice control, enunciation, diction, body language, tone, and knowing the audience. - Students will learn research-based strategies for effective public speaking skills and how to write an effective speech. This will help them with diction, organization of thoughts and delivery. They will learn how to organize their thoughts and speak spontaneously. More specifically, they will learn how to find their own voice and communicate to various topics. By doing so, this course will be cross-curricular so students will also learn persuasive writing techniques that will enhance their speaking.
As an international speaker and educator, I have spoken at many large venues, events and arenas in the area of education. I have been a motivational speaker as well.
