What is grade school lacking? Does school prepare you for financial success as a teen or an adult? In this engaging course, students will gain an understanding of financial literacy to make money work for them rather than work for money. Students will leave the class with a sense of self confidence and awareness, learn the basics of real estate investing to create cash flow and how to use leverage as an asset. Week 1: Introductions & Chapter 1 - It begins with you, Lion Mentality, What is your Superpower? Week 2: Chapter 2 - 4 - Entrepreneurship and exploring Real Estate Investing Week 3: Chapter 6 & 7 - Assets vs. liabilities and making a deal Week 4: Chapter 8 & 9 - Cash flow, income, credit and debit As a certified Math educator of 13 years, part of my educational philosophy is, all students have the capacity to learn a concept when a personal connection is established. One must understand the whole child to create a meaningful experience which will make the student search within to find their inner genius. Once the inner genius is established, a butterfly will emerge and students can create their winning formula to sustain success. Financial literacy and investing are not taught in school, however they are the most important concepts needed to obtain financial freedom. My classroom and real estate experience affords me the opportunity to create an engaging and meaningful experience which will have a lifelong impact on the youth. My courses will focus on practical life skills such as understanding financial literacy, and learning how to invest in various sectors such as real estate, the stock market and most importantly themselves. *The teacher reserves the right to change curriculum to fit the need of the student.
