Ready to commit to once- weekly violin lessons for at least 8 weeks? I'm here to help! *Feel free to check out my "meets once" listing for this class or my introduction class to violin & bow parts first before deciding to make a commitment!* In this beginning violin class, you will learn everything you need to know. Whether that be from the very start- violin and bow parts, bow hold, basic rhythms, or progressing towards intermediate playing, this one on one lesson will be designed just...
Students will be able to identify the violin, bow and their parts (including how and why they work!) Students will be able to correctly hold a bow Students will be able to correctly hold a violin Students will be able to play beginning violin rhythms and songs.
Homework Offered
Practice, practice, practice!! The more students practice outside of class, the easier they will learn and progress. Listening to The Suzuki CD's and other violin music is key to helping students learn by ear.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Informal Assessments throughout lessons so that students will have individualized feedback for their next lessons!Grades Offered
Suzuki Book 1 for Violin (WITH THE CD!!) Violin (Tuned in appropriate size for the student) -Tuning device for an adult is very helpful. Bow (Proper size for student) Shoulder Rest/Sponge for Violin Notebook/Pencil Violin "Tapes" or other small stickers when guided to purchase from teacher. Printed Sheets (Violin & Bow Parts, Bow Hand, etc. that will be provided for each lesson)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
