Ready Readers! Letter Review + Introductory Blending
Over the course of 9 sessions, we will review (or introduce, for new learners) all 26 letter names and sounds, as well learn how to blend 2-3 sounds together to form simple words. This course will get students ready to read!

1 hour per week. Families will receive a PDF containing a set of letter flashcards, which correspond to the letter images used in class. Students are encouraged (but not required) to review the letters from class as the course progresses. These flashcards will also help parents understand how well their child is retaining the course material.Certificate of Completion

Beginner Level
Students will review all 26 letter names and sounds through actions, songs and games. The class is highly interactive, and learners will be encouraged to participate as much as they are comfortable. This class takes advantage of "visual mnemonics," which are powerful learning tools that pair letters with images that hint at their sounds, making it easier for children to remember and recognize them. Students will learn to blend sounds together, beginning with 2-sound "alien words." These are always a hit with young readers! As students progress in confidence (and solidify more letters) they will begin to read real 3-sound words. Expect a positive, active, and fun atmosphere in this class! Students will finish the course with increased confidence and excitement for reading.
