    Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree in Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas
I have been a teacher for 18 years. I hold a master’s degree in Special Education and a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Education. I have taught all grades K-5 in the public school system here in Las Vegas, NV as well as served as a Digital Learning Coach for the district providing district wide trainings to teachers on how to integrate technology into their curriculum. During my time as a coach, I worked with teachers in elementary, middle, and high school all over the district. Before the sun rises every morning, I wake up to teach students in China, and love being able to connect to students on the other side of the world. I teach at the local community college teaching classes to adult learners who want to obtain their GED. On the home front I homeschool 4 children at the middle and high school level. Teaching has always been my hobby and my passion. I have always led my teaching with the belief that students must love learning. If I can help a student who has struggled or is disheartened learn to love learning again, then I have done my job well. Without a love for learning a student is at such a disadvantage in life, because we are all lifelong learners. I live and work by the philosophy that 'Teachers who love teaching, teach children who love learning".
