In this multi-day reading tutoring class, students will practice reading, fluency, and comprehension at their level.   The teacher will spend the first session conducting an informal assessment getting to know the student.  The teacher will work with the student to find content that the child enjoys reading while scaffolding learning as the student practices reading.  Students will practice reading at their level while working on their fluency and understanding of what they are reading as well.   Learning should be fun and engaging so your child will be an active participant in their learning.   In the event that you are looking for homework help or have a special request for a tutoring session, 24-hour notice is required in order to best prepare for the session and to determine if the request is something that can be accommodated.
