US Grade 1 - 4
Beginner - Advanced Level
Students will practice phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension during a scaffolded reading tutoring session. The first session will begin with informal assessments to gain understanding of the child's skill level which helps develop a plan for reading tutoring. Learning should be fun and engaging so your child will be an active participant in their learning. Each student is uniquely different so what is covered in a tutoring session will depend on the students...
-Students will practice phonemic awareness and phonics. -Students will practice vocabulary. -Students will practice reading fluency. -Students will practice reading comprehension.
As an experienced elementary and middle school teacher of over twenty-five years, I have taught many students to read both in the brick and mortar school and online.
Homework Offered
Students are encouraged to read a minimum of 20 minutes a day.Assessments Offered
Students will self-assess how they think they are doing with their reading.Grades Offered
