Students will practice phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension during a scaffolded reading tutoring session.  The first session will begin with informal assessments to gain understanding of the child's skill level which helps develop a plan for reading tutoring.  Learning should be fun and engaging so your child will be an active participant in their learning.  Each student is uniquely different so what is covered in a tutoring session will depend on the students needs as well as the parents/guardians goals for the child.
