Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class is good for learners that need remedial support and practice with reading fluency. Learners will practice reading aloud during each class to meet their reading goal of 20-25 minutes reading per night. During each class students will receive feedback and will be supported to improve in one of the areas of fluency: pace, accuracy, or expression, to improve reading outcomes. I have over 5 years experience as an online ESL teacher, over 10 years as a classroom teacher, a Master's degree in TESOL, and work as an Adjunct ESL community college instructor. I have been trained in the Orton Gillingham approach and work as an online Academic Teacher with students who struggle with reading challenges, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and executive functioning.
