Reading Skills to Foster Success
Part one of a three part series, this five-week online course will guide students as they master two key reading skills to foster comprehension and independent growth. A focus on Finding Facts and Sequencing for students grades 2-6.
Class Experience
US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner - Intermediate Level
A five-week class covering Fact Finding and Sequencing skills for blossoming readers. Session 1- Finding Facts. Students will be introduced to the concept of finding facts. Through guided instruction, we will read age-appropriate selections and use practical strategies to answer multiple-choice comprehension questions. Session 2- Fact Finding. We will continue to develop independent reading and comprehension skills in the area of Fact Finding. Optional homework. Session 3- Sequencing....
This class is taught in English.
- Students will advance their mastery of two key reading comprehension skills: Fact Finding and Sequencing.
English and ESL teacher with over a decade of experience. Twenty-five years experience working with children ages 4-15.

Students should be able to read independently at a second grade level. With guidance at a fourth grade level.
