Class Experience

This ongoing class will prepare the 4 year old to step into the K5 classroom. The short vowel, long vowel, consonants, and letter blend sounds will be taught by original funny characters and original lyrics and song tunes. I will also use constant repetition and praise. As the student succeeds and does well, they will be rewarded with a silly reward dance, stickers, and a gold star on their personal reward chart. When their chart is filled, I will send it to the student, along with a handwritten note to the student from me and a special surprise.

The first class of each week will be centered around a vowel sound and an original song. The second class of each week will be centered around a consonant sound and an original song. This is Mrs. C, The Innovative Tutor. As an educator with over 35 years of experience, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of education firsthand. Whether in a traditional classroom or a homeschool setting, my passion lies in opening doors for students—especially in the realms of English, reading, and math.

Math Education:
Foundation Matters: Our students deserve a solid foundation in mathematics. Concepts like counting money, multiplication, and numerical relationships are essential life skills.

The 4 R’s of Education:
