Children often struggle to answer questions pertaining to reading passages. In this course, students will learn to look for keywords in each question and answer choices. As an English teacher and reading coach, I have noticed that many students struggle with reading questions and comprehension. I have experience in teaching these methods to students online in TOEFL courses. I have been teaching these methods to students in person for over 7 years. Students in the state that I reside in have been struggling with the FCAT and FSA reading portion for years. I started tutoring students and teaching these methods to help students to accomplish a passing score. 85% of the students that I have taught these methods have been successful when taking the test.
