US Grade Kindergarten
Class will begin with students having the opportunity to share any thoughts they have or any books they have read lately. I will read a story to them to begin, and then we will move on to the reading comprehension activities. These sheets will be done together, and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share Goals: - To help students develop active listening skills - To help encourage students to make connections between what they read and how to answer the questions appropriately - To foster a love of reading Students will be able to show their knowledge both orally and/or in written form. I want to encourage students to make connections without the pressure of putting it in the written form. Students will be encouraged to share their thought and make connection with other learners.
