Reading Boost Club - 50 Minute Sessions
In this class, students will focus on common sight words, phonics, and fluency. With regular practice, they'll develop strong reading habits and be able to read with confidence.

US Grade 3 - 6
We will be working on Fry's 5th 100 Sight Words, Y as a Vowel, QU, CK, IND, ILD, OLD, and OST. We will be reading at Guided Reading Levels K-M depending on the student's reading level during assessment. Lesson 1: 1. Fry's Sight Words 501-510 (Depending on Student level, we may cover more.) 2. Vowel Pattern - Y as a Vowel. (Long I as in CRY) - Sound cards and tiles will be incorporated to facilitate multisensory learning. 3. Reading books to focus on Sight Words and phonics patterns. Lesson 2: 1. Fry's Sight Words 510-515 2. Vowel Pattern - Y as a Vowel (Y Long E as in Family) - With Sound Tiles 4. Reading books to focus on sight words and phonics patterns. Lesson 3: 1. Fry's Sight Words 515-520 (Depending on Student level, we may cover more.) 2. Vowel Pattern - QU (as in QUEST ) - Sound cards and tiles will be incorporated to facilitate multisensory learning. 3. Reading books to focus on Sight Words and phonics patterns. Lesson 4: 1. Fry's Sight Words 521-525 2. Vowel Pattern - CK (as in DUCK) - With Sound Tiles 4. Reading books to focus on sight words and phonics patterns. Lesson 5: 1. Fry's Sight Words 526-530 (Depending on Student level, we may cover more.) 2. Vowel Pattern - IND and ILD (as in KIND and CHILD) - Sound cards and tiles will be incorporated to facilitate multisensory learning. 3. Reading books to focus on Sight Words and phonics patterns. Lesson 6: 1. Fry's Sight Words 531-536 2. Vowel Pattern - OLD and OST (as in BOLD and HOST) - With Sound Tiles 4. Reading books to focus on sight words and phonics patterns.
