Class Experience

In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to add and subtract with rational numbers.  This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visual models, and number lines to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of how to add and subtract integers before...

Learners should bring writing utensils (paper/pencil or white board) with them to class.
