Description
Class Experience
Students will build their chicken related vocabulary. Students will develop an understanding of the life cycle of the chicken. Students will be introduced the biology concepts (For example: the parts of the egg) Students will learn what it takes to raise chickens in their backyard.
My husband and I have traveled across America teaching people how to raise chickens in their own backyard. We also teach these classes on our own farm at our Farm School.
Homework is optional. Directions will be listed in the classroom and introduced in class.
There are no materials required for his class. You may want to have a pencil and paper handy to take notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will listen to the responses of the children and adjust learning levels as needed.
