Learners will be taught some interesting facts about animals as we discover animals that live in a rainforest. • We will exercise by imitating the animals we see. • We will practice number recognition for the numbers 20-29 by finding animals hidden behind these numbers. • We will draw a red-eyed tree frog. Each learner will make their picture unique by choosing their favorite colors, background, and patterns. Rainforest animals in this lesson include: red-eyed tree frog; toucan; howler monkey; black caiman; sloth; green iguana; gorilla; jaguar; and tree kangaroo. This class builds creative thinking and makes exercise fun and enjoyable. If your learner likes animals, being active, and drawing this is a great class for them! Learning Goals

Parental Guidance
Safety is my number priority. Appropriate adult supervision is advised. Please ensure your child is working out in an open, clear and safe space, wearing appropriate footwear (bare feet or tennis shoes), and has a water bottle close by. Injuries can occur if not properly supervised.

Hello and welcome! I am Julie. I have 15 years of teaching experience. I taught in the elementary classroom for 8 years: 2 years in 5th grade and 6 years in Kindergarten (K-5). While living in Okinawa, Japan I taught ESL classes to children ages 5-12 years. I have taught ESL online for 5 years. I have mentored and privately tutored many elementary students throughout the years. I have lived and traveled all over the world and I have interacted with students from all different countries and cultures. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an Elementary Education K-6 (all subject areas) certification. I am TEFL and TESOL certified.
I create a warm, engaging, organized and well-structured classroom where all learners are encouraged and involved.
I enjoy traveling and taking walks on the beach. I love all things health and fitness! I teach educational fitness classes, art classes, phonics classes and reading classes for young learners. I believe it is important to keep both our mind and body active. Reading is to the brain as exercise is to the body!
