This simple but very dramatic-looking art is inspired by the art of Jen Stark. Learners will be guided through the process of creating the 'cascade' lines and review different color schemes, such as primary, secondary, warm, cool, and prism (rainbow) colors, Students will select their final color schemes and include sections of black and white to create the dramatic effect of flowing colors cascading over each other. Paper Pencil, sharpener, eraser Sharpie or similar black marker for outlining and coloring choice of tools for coloring: crayons, markers, oil pastels, or colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
