Students will make a Valentine's Day picture, displaying "I Love You" in Braille. This class will give your learner a quick introduction to the Braille alphabet, and then a chance to make an engaging tactile Braille craft.

In this one-time quilling class, students will make a beautiful handmade Valentine's Day picture, displaying "I Love You" in Braille. This class will give your learner a quick introduction to the Braille alphabet, and then a chance to make a Braille craft. No prior quilling or Braille knowledge is required for this engaging tactile class. The quilling shapes taught in this class are the tight ring coil, teardrop, and heart. Students will have fun, while also improving their fine motor skills and gaining an awareness of the braille alphabet. Learner Supply List: suggested quilling paper or construction/copier paper colors - red or pink liquid glue scissors pencil, toothpick, or quilling tool square or rectangle cardstock, as the base If your learner has quilling tools, that is great, but it's not required for this class! Parental Guidance
Scissors can be sharp. Also, if you choose to order quilling tools for your learner, please take note that they are sharp as well. Please keep a close eye on your learner during this class. Some parental assistance may be required to help children with poor fine motor skills.

Graduating college with a degree in Early Childhood Education has allowed me to teach children, ages 4-12. My master's is in Counseling. I believe that the combination of my bachelor's and master's work, as well as my soft skills make me a patient, kind, and loving teacher.
