In each lesson, we’ll introduce a specific Python concept, giving students the chance to apply their knowledge by creating a game or animation.

Final Projects:
At the end of each lesson, students will showcase their learning by building a game or animation, reinforcing the concepts they’ve learned.

🌟 For Students with Prior Experience:
If you've already learned Python, please note that this course uses the Codesters platform, which may differ from other Python classes you’ve taken. The platform integrates interactive lessons and tools, offering a dynamic learning experience.

Week of May 5: Data Types and Variables
Week of May 12: Conditionals and Loops
Week of May 19: Random Module
Week of May 26: Debugging

🏆 Certificate & Exam Prep:
Students who complete all lessons and projects with a satisfactory score will receive a certificate of completion (available upon request).
This course also prepares students for the Knowledge Pillars - Python Coding Apprentice (PCA) exam. More details on the PCA exam will be provided after course completion.

💻 Class Structure:
Each week, the teacher will provide 10 minutes of direct instruction. Students will complete practice activities and build a project on the Codesters platform.
The Codesters license is included in the class fee.

😃 Learner Interaction:
Students will interact by viewing and providing feedback on each other’s projects in the Outschool classroom, sharing ideas, and collaborating live as they feel comfortable.

This class is designed to support all learners, including neurodivergent kids. We create a welcoming, flexible environment and are happy to make any necessary accommodations so every student can thrive and enjoy coding at their own pace!
Parental Guidance
Platform: Classes are conducted in Codesters, an easy-to-use online platform where students will complete lessons, code, and build projects. An account will be created by the teacher, upon enrollment. The license for Codesters is included in the class fee. NO email or personal information are required for creating a Codesters account.
Pre-Requisites
No prior coding experience is required for students aged 10 and older. For students under 10, experience with Scratch or a similar visual programming tool is strongly recommended.
Supply List
Classes are conducted in Codesters, an easy-to-use online platform where students will complete lessons, code, and build projects.
