This class allows students to enjoy solving puzzles while also having fun learning about numerous mathematical properties. Each class is broken into two parts. The first half of the class is spent studying visual puzzles. Visual puzzles include, illusions, geometry puzzles, spot the difference pictures, and many others. The second half of the class is spent studying riddles and logic puzzles. The riddles and logic puzzles presented will include many types of spoken/written puzzles that will ask the students to think about things in a different way in order to get the correct. Each puzzle is presented by the teacher and then the class is silent for one minute to give everyone a chance to think about and interpret each puzzle. The class then continues with an organized discussion of the puzzle. Every student will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on the puzzle and give their interpretation. After each student has given their thoughts on the puzzle, the teacher will explain the answer.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Lyndsay has a BA in Human Development from Metropolitan State University of Denver where she also received a K-6 teaching license. Lyndsay has over 20 years of professional experience working with children. She has also authored three books geared toward homeschool families. Lyndsay is incredibly passionate about education and can make any subject fun. She is also a proud homeschool mom and homeschool evaluator in Colorado.
