Learners will know the history of Pumpkins and Squash. Learners will be able to Compare and Contrast pumpkin and squash growing, preparing and cooking methods, past and present.
Pumpkins and Squash have been a part of the diets of many indigenous cultures in the Americas. The History of pumpkins and squash intertwines with that of the American Continents, Indigenous Populations, and all who came later. I am excited to share this wonderful and interesting history with learners.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Single Learner Classes: - Single learner classes will go ahead as scheduled unless learner and family request otherwise. - Lesson may end early. If the lesson ends early there will be an extended discussion and Q & A. Learners may be released from class up to 5 minutes early if Q & A ends early.
