Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 11
Welcome to Pug Fiction: Rainbow Edition!

In this class, students will meet up weekly with members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community to complete fun writing prompts. These writing exercises are a great way to get inspired, beat writer's block, and create new characters and plots. This ongoing class will assist students in practicing their writing consistently, learning new skills, and meeting other teens who love the art of storytelling! Pug Fiction: Rainbow Edition includes age-appropriate LGBTQIA+ book recommendations, as well as a supportive/encouraging atmosphere for queer youth.

This class is appropriate for both new and experienced writers, ages 14-17. If you identify as LGBTQIA+; if you're curious or questioning; or if you're an ally to the community, you're welcome here! My lesson slides are pug-themed, and my two pugs love to say hello to my students. Each class is thirty minutes in length and is limited to five learners, so that everyone has the opportunity to ask questions and get feedback.

My pugs and I hope to see you soon!
