Calling all fans of Taylor Swift or learners interested in psychology! In this class, we will use Taylor Swift song lyrics to further our understanding of major psychological theories. Each lesson will have a psychological theme. I will present scientific research related to each theme and we will use examples of the lyrics of Taylor Swift songs demonstrate each concept. No prior knowledge of psychology is needed.

In this lesson, we will learn several theories about identity and apply them to song lyrics. You will also have an activity to complete. Lesson 2:
Happiness & Social Relationships
We will examine a scientific research study on the relationship between happiness and being around other people. Lesson 3:
Avoidant Personality Disorder
We will learn about avoidant personality disorder and why some people do not want to engage in social interactions. Lesson 4:
Friendship
In this lesson, we will learn about the need to belong and the importance of friendships. We will apply this idea to song lyrics and you will also have an activity to complete. Other Details
