This intro course to Programming with Java will introduce students to the basics; variables, printing to the screen, reading user input, variables, calculating with numbers and conditions. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn the basic of Java programming.
Short assignments will be administered during class. Projects will also be given to students to practice and test their understanding.
Laptop and charger or desktop computer
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Formal and Informal assessments will be used. Completion of assigned projects. Parents can also contact instructor.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students may need assistance installing and setting up Eclipse.
