This ongoing class is for learners with some experience using the Procreate app for iPad. Ideally, learners will have taken my Procreate 101 class and/or my one-time Stickers in Procreate class before enrolling in this ongoing class. Learners will come together in a small group each week to draw along with the teacher's prompt, socialize, work on digital stickers of their choice, and share their creations that they are working on in the Procreate app. This class is designed to be a club-style gathering to get guidance and advice from both the teacher and peers while connecting over our creativity and affinity for digital stickers. Topics to *possibly* be covered in this class: * Optimal canvas size, DPI, and color settings for sticker printing * How to use masks, clipping masks, & alpha lock * How to use the selection tool, transformation, & adjustment tools * Best sticker paper for printing at home * Best websites to order stickers from * Some handy Procreate shortcuts Weekly drawing prompts**: Week of 12/2: Llama Week of 12/9: Polar Bear Week of 12/16: Penguin Week of 12/23: Arctic Fox Week of 12/30: Moose Week of 1/6: Orca Whale Week of 1/13: Walrus Week of 1/20: Wolf Week of 1/27: Hamburger & Drink (kawaii style) Week of 2/3: Word Balloons **These are only suggestions, learners can create sticker designs of their choice. Texas Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
I am a former elementary school classroom teacher and now a current stay at home mom to a 4 year old son. I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin and I also hold state licensure to teach grades PreK-6. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade and then spent the last 8 years of teaching in the 1st grade classroom! I also currently teach English online to students in China. Teaching is one of my favorite things! Outside of my virtual classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, watercoloring, and working on digital art. I look forward to seeing you in the classroom!
