Welcome to our virtual Procreate Playground! Every week, I host a fun and educational art club for kids where they can learn new skills and techniques in Procreate. Our classes are energetic and interactive, and we use a fun teaching style to keep kids engaged and entertained. In this weekly Procreate art club, the topics for each week will be determined by the learners themselves. To choose the student who will present the drawing prompt for the week, I will use a randomized wheel spin....

In our virtual Procreate Playground art club, kids will have the opportunity to learn a variety of new skills and techniques in Procreate. Each week, we will introduce a new theme or concept, such as color theory, composition, or digital drawing techniques. We provide fun drawing prompts to inspire creativity, and our energetic and interactive teaching style ensures that kids are fully engaged and having fun while they learn. Some of the specific skills and techniques that kids may learn in our art club include: Navigating the Procreate interface and using its various tools and features Experimenting with different brushes and textures to create unique effects Using layers and masks to create complex compositions and edit their work Applying color theory principles to create harmonious and effective color schemes Creating digital art that is polished and professional-looking Overall, our classes are designed to be fun, educational, and inspiring for kids of all levels and abilities. For my digital art class using Procreate basics, the following sources and class requirements will apply: Sources: In this class, we will be using the Procreate app, which is available for purchase on the App Store for $9.99 (Apple account required). We will also be using the official Procreate user guide, which can be downloaded from the Procreate website. Class requirements: In order to participate in this class, students will need to have an iPad with the Procreate app installed. They will also need an Apple Pencil or other stylus to use with the app. Additionally, students should have a basic understanding of how to use an iPad and should be familiar with the basic functions of the Procreate app. Overall, these sources and requirements will provide students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in this class and to create beautiful digital art using Procreate. In our virtual class on Procreate Basics, I believe that parent guidance is very safe and not required. The class is designed to be accessible and engaging for children of all ages and abilities, and I will provide clear and concise instructions to help learners navigate the app and learn the fundamentals of digital art. Parents are welcome to sit with their child during the class if they want to provide support and encouragement, but it is not necessary for the child to have parental supervision in order to participate in the class. I want to provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children, and I trust that they will be able to learn and create on their own with my guidance.
In our virtual class, we will recommend the Procreate user guide as a reference for learners who want to explore the app in more depth, but it is not required for the class. The instructor will provide all the necessary information and guidance during the class, and learners can follow along and practice using the app on their own iPads. However, those who want to learn more about the features and capabilities of Procreate can consult the user guide as an optional resource.
