In this virtual Procreate Basics class, kids will learn the fundamentals of using the Procreate app on their iPad to create digital art. They will learn how to navigate the user interface, utilize various drawing and painting tools, and experiment with different brushes and effects to create unique works of art. In addition to these technical skills, kids will also learn tips and techniques for using color, composition, and perspective to enhance their creations. By the end of the class, kids will have the knowledge and confidence to create their own digital masterpieces using Procreate.

As a professional digital artist and experienced teacher, I have extensive expertise in using Procreate for digital art. I have been using this powerful software for over 7 years and have mastered its wide range of tools and features.

Homework Offered
If learners choose to return to our virtual Procreate Basics class after the initial session, they will have the opportunity to continue developing their skills and exploring the full potential of the app. As homework, learners can practice using the techniques and tools they learned in class to create their own original digital artworks. They can experiment with different styles, colors, and compositions to find their own unique artistic voice. In addition, learners can also try out the advanced features of the app, such as using layers, masks, and blending modes, to create more complex and dynamic creations. By completing this homework, learners can continue to improve their Procreate skills and become more confident and proficient digital artists. 
Assessments Offered
Throughout the class, the instructor will provide feedback and encouragement to help learners develop their skills and confidence. At the end of the class, learners will have the opportunity to showcase their creations, where they can share their work with their classmates and the instructor. The instructor will provide comments and praise on each child's artwork, and will give out virtual stickers and badges to reward their achievements. This assessment method allows learners to feel proud of their accomplishments and motivated to continue learning and creating with Procreate.
Grades Offered

In our virtual class, we will recommend the Procreate user guide as a reference for learners who want to explore the app in more depth, but it is not required for the class. The instructor will provide all the necessary information and guidance during the class, and learners can follow along and practice using the app on their own iPads. However, those who want to learn more about the features and capabilities of Procreate can consult the user guide as an optional resource.
