Class Experience
US Grade 9 - 12
Mathematicians in the Algebra II Problem Solving Integrated Math Course will be able to use math skills to solve a variety of problems related to Algebra II topics, which includes standard algebra 2 content such as quadratic functions, radical functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, and rational functions. The focus of this class will remain on solving word problems in context rather than from drill and practice to build Algebra II skills. The student-led, teacher-guided...
- Students will be able to explore new Algebra I concepts through inquiry methods.
- Students will be able to present solutions and conclusions to peers.
- Students will be able to confidently problem solve using previously acquired mathematics skills and support from peers.
